Sometimes it's easier to talk when we're moving.
Run-Walk-Talk and movement-based therapy offers an alternative to traditional office-based therapy by incorporating walking, running, and time outdoors into the therapeutic process.
You don’t have to be a runner—or even particularly athletic. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

01
We start with you
Walking, running, a combination of both, or simply spending time outdoors—the session adapts to you.
02
We choose the pace and setting
Walking, running, a combination of both, or simply spending time outdoors—the session adapts to you. There is a lovely, quiet path outside the office. For acclimate weather, indoor walking treads are available.
03
We do the work
The clinical work remains the same. We talk, explore patterns, build insight, develop new ways of coping, and work toward the changes you want to make.

You Think Better While Moving

Sitting still isn’t always when your best thinking happens
You Feel Connected Outdoors.
Being outside helps you feel grounded, present, or more like yourself.

Traditional Therapy Feels Too Formal.

Walking side-by-side may make conversation feel more natural
You’re Navigating Change
Movement can complement therapy during transitions involving relationships, parenting, identity, recovery, or figuring out what comes next.
Who might enjoy this approach?

Why I incorporate movement into therapy.
Movement and being outdoors have always been important parts of my own life.
I love running, walking, camping, and spending time in nature, and I’ve experienced firsthand how movement can create space to think, process, and reconnect with yourself.
In my clinical work, incorporating movement feels like a natural extension of the way I already approach therapy: collaborative, practical, curious, and grounded in real life.
